I am an accredited social worker who has lived in Geraldton my whole life. I have a deep passion for working with adults and children who live with mental health challenges and disability.

I have been working with horses for 35 years – yes since I was five.

Drawing on my lived experience of addiction and alcoholism, I am now sober and I understand the struggles of mental health challenges.

From as far back that I can remember, I have always wanted to connect people with animals, particularly horses. Horses offer emotional support and assist individuals to navigate through challenging situations. In some of my darkest moments, I have turned to the peaceful safety of horses to calm me down and bring me back to the moment.

Dj

DJ is around 26 years old making him around 80 in horse years. He loves cuddles, brushes and to be the center of attention. DJ can always make you feel safe.

Sugar

Sugar is around 16 years old making her around 60 years old. She loves food and hanging out with her humans. Sugar can always be trusted.

Pixie

Pixie is around 16 years old making her around 60 years old. She may be small but likes to be bossy, especially around food. Pixie can always give you a laugh.

Finn

Finn is 2 years old making him around 14 years old. He is a cheeky teenager who is still being prepared to join the herd for therapy.

Dougal

Dougal the dog is Bels best mate. His favorite thing is belly rubs. He can always be found at your feet waiting to be scratched. Dougal is loyal..
